COLUMBUS, Ohio - Gov. Mike DeWine blamed Republican lawmakers for the lack of a school mask mandate at a Tuesday news conference, during which representatives of Ohio’s six children’s hospitals described overrun facilities.

“The legislature has made it clear to me they will not hesitate and they will repeal a mandate,” DeWine said.
